Our Single Sign-On (SSO) solution lets you use your Microsoft credentials to access Appara, removing the need for two-factor authentication. To use Microsoft Single Sign-On, select "Sign in with Microsoft" at the bottom of the sign in screen:
Please note: On your first login with Microsoft Single Sign-On may be asked to accept permissions as below:
Firms Using Enforced SSO
If your firm has enabled Enforce Single Sign-On (SSO), all users must sign in using the Sign in with Microsoft option. Attempting to use the standard username/password login may allow you to enter your credentials and complete multi-factor authentication, but you will receive an error before sign-in is completed.
This is expected behaviour when SSO enforcement is enabled.
If you receive an error after using the standard sign-in method, simply return to the login page and select Sign in with Microsoft instead.
If you are unsure whether your firm has enabled SSO, please contact your firm's administrator or Appara Support.
